Full Description
A hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery immediately to the east of Penny Farthing Wood, Alton Pancras. It is considered likely to be a post medieval extraction pit (possibly for chalk) and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
