Full Description
Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within a single modern field to the south of Ivest Wood, Church Hill, Alton Pancras. They are considered likely to be a post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
