Full Description
An 'Old Chalk Pit' with associated 'Old Lime Kiln' are marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map at the northern end of Redlands Coppice, Piddletrenthide. (OS 1888 (1)). The hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (2)).
