Full Description
An 'Old Flint Pit' is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st editon map on Watcombe Plain, Alton Pancras. It is one of a line of extractive hollows running north eastwards towards Little Elias Copse which are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
