Summary

Two groups of hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the south east of Mappowder Court, Mappowder. The features lie in the vicinity of the possible medieval settlement described in MDO4259; they may be associated with the settlement or of later post medieval extractive origin. The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
