Summary

The northern half of a rectilinear bank and ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1974 to the west of Stoke Common Barns, Stoke Wake. The enclosure is 70m across and defined by an inner bank with adjacent external ditch. The feature is of uncertain date and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description

The northern half of a rectilinear bank and ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1974 to the west of Stoke Common Barns, Stoke Wake. The enclosure is 70m across and defined by an inner bank with adjacent external ditch. The feature is of uncertain date and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.(1)
