Summary

An evaluation by AC Archaeology in 2021 of a site proposed for development revealed two pits in Trench 8 with Late Bronze Age pottery in their fillings. The archaeologists on site considered that undated postholes and a curving gully near by might be of similar date; the gully possibly the remains of a round house. Similar pits were recorded in Trench 9, though no dating evidence was recovered.
