Monument record MDO49194 - Rectangular enclosure, High Mead Farm, Hampreston, Ferndown Town

Summary
A cropmark visible on Google Earth imagery (07/2022) appears to be a ditch on three sides of a roughly rectangular area with sides measuring around 57 metres on the north, 47 metres on the south, and the other two sides around 67 metres. There is no visible ditch on the south side, and an apparent gap of around 15 metres in the east side. Interpreted as an enclosure of possible later prehistoric date.
