Summary

A pit [907] excavated in 2016 during evaluation of the site before the SANG (Suitable Alternative Natural Green Space) was created. No dateable material was found but the filling of the pit contained one worked flint flake, and this pit may be the same date as a nearby pit (MDO49168).

Full Description

Pit [907] extended beyond the edge of the evaluation trench (Trench 9) but was 1.8m at its widest and 0.51m deep. The pit was sealed by a band of gravel which formed the base of the subsoil observed to extend the length of Trench 9.
