Summary

A pit [905] excavated in 2016 during evaluation of the site before the SANG (Suitable Alternative Natural Green Space) was created. The filling of the pit contained one worked flint flake and a sherd of pottery, thought to be Deverel-Rimbury, and suggesting a Middle Bronze Age date.

Full Description

Pit [905] extended beyond the edge of the evaluation trench (Trench 9) but was approximately one metre in diameter and 0.32m deep. It was straight sided with a flat bottom that sloped slightly towards the middle.
