Summary

Robert March reports observing a scatter of surface material while fieldwalking. The material consistes of a large amount of Roman pottery, mainly coarseware but also some sherds of New Forest and Samian wares, and some bones intermixed with rubble. Two coins of Constantine I were picked up on the surface. The scatter was situated next to small spring.
