Summary

A small pit excavated by Cotswold Archaeology in 2022 during excavation in advance of development. The roughly-oval pit cut into another feature, the two together possibly being a posthole with a pronounced weathering cone towards the surface. Pottery in the fillings of this and nearby post holes and other features included Early Iron Age and later prehistoric.
