A highly fragmented banked field system is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of the Roman road at Bere Regis. It covers an area of over 56 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The field system is considered likely to be of prehistoric origin and is an extension of MDO48316 to the north.

A highly fragmented banked field system is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of the Roman road at Bere Regis (1). It covers an area of over 56 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The field system is considered likely to be of prehistoric origin and is an extension of MDO48316 to the north.
