'Wall Letter Box on North side of Cowgrove Road, Pamphill parish, midway between two listed buildings Firs Farmhouse (List entry no. 1152924) and Walnut Farmhouse, 240m east. An Edward VII Rex red cast iron box in use, inserted in a brick boundary wall on the north verge, between the years 1901 and 1910. Condition complete, consummate with age. Installed for the benefit of postal services to the tenants of Mr Banks doubtless by request of his royal guest to Kingston Lacey house.'
