Full Description
"Extract of a letter from Biddeford, Feb 3. ... These are the very same Fellows who plunder¿d and broke up the Dutch ship that was on Shore about six months ago near the same Place. ..." (1)
This wreck displays features in common with two Dutch wrecks reported in the same area both also having been plundered, but of different dates, viz De Hoop and a Dutch vessel with tobacco [qv]. Hence this report may be a garbled version of one or both of these wrecks, or may represent a third wreck.
