Full Description
SU 0183 1012. Traces of two Bronze Age round barrows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and have been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. The westernmost barrow is defined by a single sub-circular ditch 18.4m in diameter, while a second to the east is defined by an incomplete sub-circular ditch 15.6m in diameter. The barrows are part of the extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. (1)
