Full Description

A ridged Food Vessel, Cornish urn and Biconical urn were all 'found in a second barrow in Charborough Park', in 1871 and 1877. Ridged Food Vessels in particular are rare in Dorset and this example, filled to the brim with a cremation suggests that transition in use from food vessel to urn. Durden Catalogue Nos. 130-2. (1)
