Full Description
A small strip of coloured marble 3 1/4 x 1/2 x 1/4 ins bearing the inscription. T(emplum) Veneris, Romawe,said to have been found c 1926 in a gravel pit at Ensbury. In 1936, in possession of the Rev A D H Allan, Cromhall Rectory, Charfield, Glos.
