Full Description

(Centred SU 00980032) Six cottages. The first pair are of two storeys with brick walls and slate covered roofs and are of the mid 19th century. The rendered east front has casement windows and doorways of 'Tudor' form, with four centred heads and labels. The parapet is crenellated.

The next two adjacent cotages and the next pair of cotages are all of two storeys with attics with brick walls and tiled roofs with stone-slate verges. They were built in the 18th century. One tenement in the pair of cottages contains a reused chamfered
beam with shaped stops. (1)

'(53) Cottages, pair, of two storeys with brick walls and slate-covered roofs, are of the mid 19th century. The rendered E. front has casement windows and doorways of 'Tudor' form, with four-centred heads and labels. The parapet is crenellated.

(54) Cottages, two adjacent, of two storeys with attics, have brick walls and tiled roofs with stone-slate verges; they were built in the 18th century.

(55) Cottages, pair, have characteristics as in (54). One tenement contains a reused chamfered beam with shaped stops.'
