Full Description
A small Saxon pot, only 2" tall, of a mottled greyish-brown ware. Dug up outside the borough (Poole) boundary near Wimborne. (1)
The present location of this pot was not discovered during field investigation. It does not appear to be in Poole Museum, where much of the late H P Smith's Collection is housed, and where enquiries were made. Its provenance is similary unknown. (2)
