Full Description

Two small Greek coins acquired by Dorchester Museum between May 1923 and May 1924. They were found in a cottage garden at Charminster. Both are from the Island of Samos - one dates from first century BC and the other four centuries later. They were presented by Mr Graham of Forston House, Charminster. (By dates, by source of origin and find site, they may have been part of a coin collection). <1>

Mr Graham and his wife are deceased. No further information was obtained concerning the coins. <2>
