'(443) Broadwey (SY 68 SE). An Inhumation Burial was found beside the Weymouth road c. 1844. The remains, apparently of a young person, were found 'in the Roman grave by the side of the Roman road, four miles south of Dorchester' (F. T. Buckland, Curiosities of Natural History 2nd ser. (1860), 112). ...'
