Full Description

"In 1645 the farm of Humphrey Weld at West Chaldon, value 1640 #180, was sequested". <1>

The original farm house is a fairly small L-shaped building, constructed from Elizabethan type bricks. The west front has been
plastered, and in places cement faced. An extension was built in early victorian times to the south, according to the owner and occupier, Mr Cobb. See ground photograph. <3>
