'The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of local rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (8) High Wrackleford, house ¾ m. E.S.E. of the church, has later extensions on the W. and has rubble and cob walls. The Barn, E. of the house, has been re-roofed.'
