Linear banks and ditches, considered likely to be the remains of medieval strip fields, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs {1}. The site was digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Full Description

John Oswin has continued to study DMVs in the South Winterborne valley. His documentary research has shed light on late medieval shrinkage at Ashton. <1>
