Full Description
The remains of a possible Iron Age, Roman or medieval field system visible as soilmarks and slight earthworks (centred at c. ST 8023 0039) extending across several fields to the west of Little Hewish Farm and Cottages. There are slight traces of cultivation ridges, possibly ridge and furrow visible within part of the system, possibly extending across a number of the field banks. These were seen on photographs taken in September 2007. (1)
