One of four slight chalky patches, possibly with some trace of a mound on two which may be the remains of four Bronze Age round barrows south east of Purlands Farm which are visible on aerial photogrpahs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme.

Full Description

Four slight chalky patches, possibly with some trace of a mound on two which may be the remains of four Bronze Age round barrows SE of Purlands Farm which are visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme. They are closely located at SY6475 9018, SY 6472 9016, SY 6475 9015 and SY 6473 9013. A number of further barrows have already been recorded to the north extending W-E through Downcroft Farm and Purlands Farm. <1>
