Railway station on the Southampton and Dorchester line, the station was built in 1915 to serve munitions workers at Royal Navy Cordite Factory during the First World War. The line itself was opened in 1847. Holton Heath Station is marked on the OS map from 1925 but not on pre- First World War maps. It is centred at about SY 94594 50208. <1>
