Summary

An armilla or bracelet in the Durden Collection at the British Museum was found in a Romano British burial at Sturminster Marshall. As well as the armilla, the burial is said to have contained pottery and a skull, identified as a young person. The exact location of the burial is not known.

Full Description

An armilla was found in a grave at Sturminster Marshall, containing the skull of a young person, also a piece of pottery. In the Durden Collection. (1)

No precise location of the site from which these articles were obtained could be determined during field investigation. The Durden Collection is in the British Museum. (2)
