Summary

Eighteen small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Bere Wood and Kimberley Wood in the vicinity of Robinsonwood Farm, Bere Regis. They range from 5m to 12m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.

Eighteen small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Bere Wood and Kimberley Wood in the vicinity of Robinsonwood Farm, Bere Regis <1>. They range from 5m to 12m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.
