Summary

Traces of a banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at the northeast end of Bere Wood, Bere Regis. The features cover an area of over 16 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated, a prehistoric origin is possible. The field system extends to the north and is recorded further in record MDO46572.

Traces of a banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at the northeast end of Bere Wood, Bere Regis <1>. The features cover an area of over 16 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated, a prehistoric origin is possible. The field system extends to the north and is recorded further in record MDO46572.
