Full Description

Cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow seen as a single ring ditch at SY 7797 0630, one of a group of three barrows, the other two being scheduled and recorded in NRHE 1348441. These barrows are visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme. (NRHE)

The grid reference SY 7797 0630 is not correct. Grid reference changed to SY 7797 9630 which is in Burleston parish but in a location adjacent to two barrows designated as a Scheduled Monument, which fits the NRHE description of a group of three barrows. This seems likely to be a duplicate of MDO48434. (HER compiler's comments 2026)
