Summary

A World War Two, possible Norcon-type, pillbox located at White Mill Bridge, Sturminster Marshall. The pillbox was constructed in 1940-41 and is built of concrete. A field visit in 1999 found the structure to be in a good condition.

Full Description

Circular 2-man concrete structure standing c.3.5ft high, possibly Norcon-type pillbox at bridge over River Stour. Small concrete pillbox, apparently in good condition, but overgrown with weeds at rear,By White Mill Bridge, Sturminster Marshall. <1-3>
