Full Description
Warehouse and attached house on the west side of Saint Michael's Lane. The warehouse is probably early to mid-19th century date. It is of 3 storeys and is built of coursed rubble with a gabled roof and an apex brick stack at the north end. The building is of 3 bays and has flat-headed horizontal-rectangular windows with splayed stone heads. There are central taking-in doors on the east elevation with a hoist beam, the ground-floor door is to the north of the north bay. The south end bay comprises a through-passage, which may have been inserted later, it gives access to the small early 20th century north-light sheds attached to the west. According to the record on the South West Textile Mills database the building is listed grade II, but no matching description could be found.
