Full Description

Isaac Taylor's map of 1765 shows the hamlet of Whitstow in what afterwards became the park of Canford House. The actual site is a piece of uneven ground in and near a group of trees at a junction of tracks. It is said ancient drains were exposed when the modern barn now there was erected. <1>
