The design of the building is a modern treatment of the Romanesque with a 42ft tower as the central feture of the bulding. Built of brown rustic brick, with cast stone copings, dressings and cills, the main roofs are of dark antique Roman tiles. The chapel is entered through a small vestible with access to the columbarium from the north-east side of the chapel.
