Full Description
Banked linear features in fields to the northeast of St Mary's Church, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are typically narrow and regular in form and align with the historic field pattern. They are considered likely to be field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on available Google Earth imagery.
