Summary
Ridged and ditched linear features in fields to the east of Higher Loop Farm, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered to possibly be medieval ridge and furrow, although cultivation marks of a later date are also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
Ridged and ditched linear features in fields to the east of Higher Loop Farm, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered to possibly be medieval ridge and furrow, although cultivation marks of a later date are also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on available Google Earth imagery.
