Summary

Banked linear features in fields to the northwest of Old Park Farm, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered to be field boundaries of potentially medieval date. They could possibly be features associated with the medieval Litchett Deer Park (NRHE Hob UID 457316), within which they are situated. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Banked linear features in fields to the northwest of Old Park Farm, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered to be field boundaries of possible medieval date. They could possibly be features associated with the medieval Litchett Deer Park (NRHE Hob UID 457316), within which they are situated. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.They are no longer visible on available Google Earth imagery.
