Summary

Ditched and banked linear and curvilinear features within fields to the southeast of Morden are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered to be field boundaries and possibly drainage ditches of probable medieval to post medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Ditched and banked linear and curvilinear features within fields to the southeast of Morden are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered to be field boundaries and possibly drainage ditches of probable medieval to post medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on 2022 Google Earth imagery [2].
