Circa ST 8600: Neolithich ground and polished flint axe-head, 8.7 ins x 2.3ins. found near Combs Ditch (ST 80 SE 48) in Winterborne Thomson (now Winterborne Kingston ) parish. On display in Dorset County Museum Acc. 1886.7.1. <1>

No closer provenance was obtained during recording of field investigation. The axe is not exhibited at present in the museum. <2>
