Full Description
An area of ridged and ditched cultivation to the northwest of West Park Farm, Morden, is visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features comprise regular and parallel ridges and ditches within a historic field, which run counter to modern ploughing, being aligned broadly E-W as a pose to SE-NW. They might be those of medieval ridge and furrow. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on 2021 APGB imagery.
