Summary

A sub-circular ring ditch in a field to the south of Round House plantation, Morden, is visible as a cropmark on a 1945 aerial photograph. The feature is considered to possibly be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

A sub-circular ring ditch in a field to the south of Round House plantation, Morden, is visible as a cropmark on a 1945 aerial photograph [1]. The feature measures approximately 20m in diameter with a 1.5m wide ditch and is considered to possibly be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
