The feature is shown but not named on the OS 1st Edition map and could be a post medieval extractive pit or pond. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

An irregular hollow in a field to the north of West Morden, Morden, is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs and on current Environment Agency Lidar imagery [1, 2]. The feature is shown but not named on the OS 1st Edition map and could be a post medieval extractive pit or pond [3]. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
