An extensive enclosed field system of later prehistoric or Roman date is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on Shillingstone Hill, Shillingstone. It covers an area of 126 hectares and is part of a much wider field system which runs from Shillingstone to Bryanston parishes. The system was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

An extensive enclosed field system of later prehistoric or Roman date is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on Shillingstone Hill, Shillingstone (1). It covers an area of 126 hectares and is part of a much wider field system which runs from Shillingstone to Bryanston parishes. The system was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
