Summary

Ditched linear features in fields to the southeast of World's End, Morden, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are located adjacent to a historic water channel or sluice recorded on the OS 1st Edition map and are considered likely to be post medieval drainage ditches. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Ditched linear features in fields to the southeast of World's End, Morden, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are located adjacent to a historic water channel or sluice recorded on the OS 1st Edition map and are considered likely to be post medieval drainage ditches. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on available Google Earth imagery.
