The features are considered likely to be post medieval drainage ditches and/or possibly field boundaries and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Linear ditched features in fields to the northeast of World's End, Morden, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features comprise regular linear ditches that divide the southwestern field into regular rectilinear plots. They are considered likely to be post medieval drainage ditches and/or possibly field boundaries and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are still visible as cropmarks on 2021 APGB imagery [3].
