Summary

Banked and ditched curvilinear features to the south of Combe Farm, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of medieval to post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Banked and ditched curvilinear features to the south of Combe Farm, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of medieval to post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on 2021 APGB imagery.
