Full Description
Banked linear boundaries to the southeast of Sturminster Marshall are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are considered likely to be field boundaries of potentially later prehistoric to medieval date, possibly a continuation of a field system to the south and west (MDO46784; 46785). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
