Summary

Banked linear boundaries to the southeast of Sturminster Marshall are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be field boundaries of potentially later prehistoric to medieval date, possibly a continuation of a field system to the south and west (MDO46784; 46785). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Banked linear boundaries to the southeast of Sturminster Marshall are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are considered likely to be field boundaries of potentially later prehistoric to medieval date, possibly a continuation of a field system to the south and west (MDO46784; 46785). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
