Full Description
Areas of possible ridged and ditched cultivation within fields to the east of Newton Peveril, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery (Environment Agency 2021). The features are faint but appear narrow and fairly regular in form. They may be ridge and furrow cultivation of medieval to post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
